A European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel has been created to lead and support all European countries in the efforts to prevent and treat pressure ulcers.

The European Wound Management Association - EWMA - was founded in 1991, and the association works to promote the advancement of education and research into native epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis, prevention and management of wounds of all aetiologies.

The aim of the ILF is to improve the management of Lymphoedema and related disorders worldwide and provide a dedicated platform for the Lymphoedema community.

The Institute seeks to serve the whole of the profession of chiropody. Its members include chiropodists, podiatrists and foot care professionals, employed and self-employed. The Institute certificate of membership is accepted by most employing and licensing authorities, who know that members undertake to adhere to a strict code of professional conduct.
